What is on the card

Before you start: have the instrument looked at, because old strings and perished reeds will make you think the problem is you. Week one: ten minutes a day of long notes (for strings, long slow bows) and easy scales, stopping before anything aches. Week two: one piece you have played before, at half speed, with thirty seconds recorded on your phone. Week three: play music, not exercises, along with a recording you love. Week four: find people, and remember that everyone in the room once had a first night back.
